My daughter absolutely loves nursery days and always comes home with a brilliant smile on her face! The approach of the staff is always very friendly and very much centred around the children who adore them!

Snowy’s is a warm and friendly Norfolk Nursery and Pre-School in the village of Brundall. We have strong ties with Brundall Primary School and use this to help prepare your child for School. Snowy’s is a registered charity and is run by an elected committee made up of parents of children at Snowy’s and volunteers from the local community. We pride ourselves on the quality, experience and friendliness of our team. Through our high qualification base, we are able to deliver a professional quality of care.
We are located a short walk from Brundall School and we have an enclosed garden for outdoor play and learning. The setting has designated rooms for different age groups. We welcome children from 2 years of age in our nursery room and in their final year children move up into our Pre-School room.
As a Norfolk Nursery and Pre-School, we provide FREE funded early years education for two, three and four-year-old children.
We provide a wide range of appropriate learning materials and stimulating, high-quality toys and activities, indoors and outdoors. We also ensure that children have a varied and healthy diet, fresh air, exercise, rest and play, contributing to their physical, emotional and educational development.
We understand that children develop at their own pace. Every child is recognised and treated as an individual, working within the Early Years framework and national standards, and we work closely with parents to provide a level of care that meets the high standards you’d expect for your child.
Snowy’s Nursery and Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Our Nursery room accepts children from the age of 2. The Nursery room is based within the house and can accommodate up to 12 children at any one time.
We recognise and understand the huge benefits that free play has on the positive development of young children.
Our nursery plans its activities in accordance with the EYFS with a strong focus on exploratory, imaginative play and healthy eating.
Our pre-school children are catered for in a well-fitted, centrally heated mobile classroom. We are able to teach up to 16 children and will have a minimum of 2 members of teaching staff (frequently 3). We have morning and afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday. We recommend that all children in their pre-school year use their funding fully and attend 5 sessions a week (although this may be shared with one other setting).
