Our aim is to ensure that you feel confident that your child is happy, having fun and learning whilst spending time with us. Within a friendly, warm and safe environment our focus is to ensure children grow and develop to their full potential physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
We aim to make our setting a welcoming place where children settle quickly and easily and consideration has been given to the individual needs and circumstances of children and their families.

- A curriculum based on your child’s interests, needs and abilities that follows the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Individual care and attention from experienced and qualified early years staff with the additional support of a designated key worker for each child
- Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in your own child’s progress
- We promote positive behaviour and encourage children to respect each other and their surroundings
Throughout their time at Snowy’s children gradually transition from our nursery room (Squirrels) into the pre-school room (Hedgehogs) where we prepare them for their next chapter at school.
Snowy’s Nursery and Pre-school is open Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.15pm during term time.
Meet Our Team
Our friendly and caring team are passionate about working in early years education and promote an enthusiastic learning environment for the children. Our individual strengths complement each other to make a wonderful learning experience for all the children.
We are registered with Ofsted and employ members of staff holding appropriate early years qualifications. Our staff are all trained in paediatric first aid, are DBS checked and access regular training in safeguarding children.

Charity Committee
Our Charity Committee is integral to Snowy’s. We are a committee led preschool and without their support, Snowys would not be able to continue and the preschool would have to close.
Our committee is made up of a small team of parents and volunteers who meet every half term to oversee the running of the setting; however, the day-to-day management of the preschool is delegated to the Business Manager and Preschool Manager.
